“Let us now go to Bethlehem” (Luke 2:15)

Dear Children of God! how are you? How are you doing in this season of fasting? Now that it is ending and we are reaching to celebrate the Birth Day of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ, our delight is in front of us! This is the main reason we are going to tell you the story of The birth day of Our Lord Jesus Christ entitled “Let us now go to Bethlehem.” (Luke 2:15)

The Seven Covenants

A “covenant” means “an agreement, a promise” or can be “a contract” or “a deal.” It is made by God with people or can be by people with people. Our focus is on the Covenant made by God. Our Lord has made covenants with many of His beloved children, beginning the creation of the heaven and earth. As it is stated in the Book of Psalm, “I have made a covenant with my chosen.” (Psalm 88(89):3)

Good Governance and Church

Dear Family of God, how are you? How was the last week? May we remind you about last lesson which was “The Cause for the lack of good governance.” On this section, we will see the second part.

Laity’s Role in Church

Fasting, Prostration and alms giving are ways of spirituality and obedience through the governance of our corporeal to our soul. Prostration is made not only by humans but the celestial (heavenly) being, The Angels. (Isaiah 6:3) It is the main aim of the two creations Angles and humans. We shall also help the weak, aid the victims of tribal wars and in trails within the Church. As it is necessary to make alms giving, it is necessary to realize the good virtue of our good endeavors in particular to fasting seasons,

Feast of Abune Tekele Haimanot

Our patron saint is the most renowned saint in Ethiopia. He was in Zorare, a district in Selale, Shewa and place called Itisa, from a Priest Tsega Zeab or “Gift of Faith” and his wife Egzi’e Haraya to mean “Choice of God” on Tahesas 24, 1197.

Feasts of Saint Gabriel

Good Governance and Church

Dear Family of God! how are you? How have you been the last weeks? May we remind you about our previous topic which was about Good Governance, its theme and the types of Management of Church. We have also seen the un-doubtful significance of good governance for Church. Unfortunate though that our Church is suffering due to lack of Good Governance.

The True Light

The world was in darkness for 5500 years, for defying God’s law and no human could ever see the light before the redeemer Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Apostle Saint John has witnessed about the true light.

Mariology

Mariology is the study about Holy Mother Saint Mary. In this first section, we will see her perpetual Virginity and honor. Our Holy Mother Saint Mary’s virginity is twofold. She is virgin spiritually (eternally) and corporeally. She conceived and gave birth to her beloved Son our Lord Jesus Christ whilst being virgin. Saint Mary is the purest amongst all women ever created and thus become abode for God.

Above all creatures, the heavenly and worldly ones, even exceeding the angels, Saint Mary stands at the right side of God. She is bestowed the power of intercession and mediation for those seeking mercy, salvation and blessings. Saint David said accord, “At your hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.” (Psalm 45:9)
