“Enter not into the path of the wicked” (Proverbs 4:14)

One of the biggest reasons God created humans is for them to praise Him and take part of His glory. As rubbing stones will create fire, sin which is evil was first initiated by the devil in the midst of angles. The devil and those who believed his deceptive ideas fall out of grace. The devil used snake to give advice to Adam and Eve to follow the wrong path he took. His advice deceived Adam saying, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” and Eve and lead them to evil deeds. (Genesis 3:4-5)

Because of the sin they did misled by the devil we lost God and Heaven which is filled with heavenly incense (until the son God incarnated human flesh and gave us His flesh and blood and saved us through His suffering).  Even after we got out of heaven the devil never stopped his advice to lead people astray. Cain the son of Adam and Eve taught the sin of killing human by killing his brother Abel. It is stated in the Bible as, “Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord.” Then she bore again, this time his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.  And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. (Genesis 4:1-8) Ever since then many followed the example of Cain (the devil).

For men everything that is hurtful to the soul and flesh, all things that are out of the will of god are called Evil (Sin). Racism, Murdering, taking away others belongings, worshiping things other than god, selfishness, being a false witness against your neighbor and others are examples of evil doings.

Evil is what drags to wickedness; people with evil deeds have hatred in their heart and thus become wicked. This wickedness aspired by devilish work draws people into doing sinful acts and are consumed by deviousness. Thus, they are trapped into the devil’s nest for it blinds and deafens them.

So dear brethren, we shall always be aware of evilness and devilish path for we shall not be consumed by our hatred and fall into the enemy trap. We could not get mercy of God and be forgiven unless and other wise our everyday endeavors are good and pleases God.

May God safeguards from evil ways, amen!
