Earth

The round shaped creation of God “Earth” contains water, fire, wind and all the other creatures living in its meridian. Amongst the first day creation of God as it is stated, “the earth He separated from the water now encircling it, and firmly grounded it on the unshakable foundation of His own will… about antipodes: “The ocean, impassable for men, and the worlds beyond it are governed by the same decrees of the Master.” (Saint Clement of Rome, Epistle to the Corinthians)
A disciple of the apostles Clement explains about earth saying that water “encircles” the earth, thereby implying its spherical shape. He also affirms the existence of “antipodes,” which was the ancient term used to refer to humans on the other side of the globe!
The prophet David, our Saints, Basil the Great, who wrote about creation, all of them, with the Grace of God knew everything about the creation by God. The Holy Spirit took them to the depths of the waters, He showed them and they saw the earth revolving around the sun, and many other things.
The Saints, however, spoke to people according to the knowledge of their age. This is so that they wouldn’t look like fools by revealing everything to their age that they saw with the Grace of God. Since simple people were not able to see all those things and understand them, they would not have believed them!” (Saint Paisios of Athos, “ ELECTION POT: OLD PAISIOS 1924-1994,” page 142)
Even though God is in His Kingdom of Heaven, earth is also His Kingdom as we His creatures inhibit in it. We shall embrace His existence within our humanity, soul, heart and spiritual life every day for He could live with us. It is stated, “It is the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that sit upon the orb of the earth and the inhabitants thereof are as locusts: he that stretch out the heavens as nothing and spread them out as a tent to dwell in.” (Isaiah 40:22)
Earth can be the resemblances of Heaven or Hell depending on the deeds of humans in a society according to Patristic Fathers of our Holy Orthodox Tewahedo Church. For instances in the Old treatment, God was with the people of Israel leading them in hardship through the Prophet of Mosses. He freed them form slavery of their Enemy Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar and other many Pagan Worshiper Kings. But, during those years, whenever they deceived God and sinned, He rebuked and punished them also for they could return to Him, but those who were unwilling to listen His words and disobeyed His command, were diseased for eternity. This is clear evidence of the existences of God and His judgment upon all of us.
In the New Testament also in-scripted in the Bible, Our Lord Jesus Christ came from heaven and was born from Holy Mother Saint Mary for the salvation of mankind. He lived for thirty-three years on earth where He was baptized by the hands of Saint John, preached Gospel and preformed many miracles by curing leprosies, the crippled, the lame and the blind. He has sat down and ate with Saint Apostles for His love and mercy. He has washed their feet in teaching obedience and humility. He revealed His love upon the cross sacrificing His life for our salvation and eternal life.
Our Lord Jesus has done much more after His resurrection and ascending to heaven. He has raised many other righteous, Saints, Holy Fathers, Monks and Martyrs Whom He chose from their mother’s womb, raised by teaching them gospel, fought their battle along their side, sit by them during their illness and healed their injury and pain. He fed them heavenly food and watered them during thirst from a rock water. All this He did with Love and at their final day of earth, He comes to them in Glory with His Holy Mother and Angels from heaven to honor them and vow in confirming their intercession for the salvation of others. God has lived with His children for He loves and seek to bestow them eternity in His kingdom.
Many has witnessed God’s presence through their own lives and in others as well. But this all was for their righteousness, obedience and diligence through spirituality and Christianity. It is the duty of a Christian to carry the cross and follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is through the pain and sorrow in earthly life that we can find ever lasting peace and happiness. It is the strength of the Holy Cross that pulls us from all the sophisticated suffering and torment we face in this satanic world. It is the hope of our salvation and eternal life with our creator God.
Whether we believe it or not, Mankind is trapped in sinner nest and imprisoned in satanic slavery these days. This is the resemblances of hell. Our own sin has caged us poisoning our purity, damaging our humanity and destroying our spiritual life by making us lose hope and faith. Most people rely on worldliness in fulling their daily routine without considering our soul’s desire. They deny their faith and religion betraying God for worldly consumption, wealth and fame. Specifically, love of money and luminary has turned humans in to living fiends. They kill others brutally just for money and comfort in this world. Harshly they treat people for acquiring benefit. Our Globe has become the place of satanic people filled with evil spirit.
Unfortunate for those who are blinded to even see and understand the atmosphere and surrounding that has drowned them in the devil’s world. Some have even look like the aliens and beasts imitating the devil physically. They have undergone surgeries to grow horns on their head and are even heard confirming selling their soul to satan. This is an indication the beginning of the end of the world in the prophet that Lord Jesus Christ has spoke off during the sermon on the mount.
Thus, it is necessary to notice this indication for we could be altered for all the sign and be ready in living through Christianity carrying the cross until the end of our earthly lives. It is us that can make earth heaven or hell. We have the power of changing the world for better cause and live in spiritual life by obeying God’s command. His law is the light and of the world and crutch in our diligence in reaching up to the kingdom of heaven.
