“Do not be Lukewarm!”

Our lives are amid the trials of cold, hot or lukewarm. Saint John described these three circumstance as “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” (Revelation 3:15-16)

The Twenty-Four Heavenly Priests, Saint Seraphim

The Heavenly Priests, Saint Seraphim are the highest hierarchy in the tribe of the Angel’s World, the closest to God, which the Book of Synaxarium refers them as, “The Twenty-Four Elders.”

“Man shall say, Zion is my mother” (Psalm 87:5)

The Holy, the sacred and abode of God, Zion, is most celebrated in our country, for we are bestowed the Ark of the Covenant on Hidar 21 in Ethiopia, Axum city, the home of our Holy Mother Saint Mary.

Ark of the Covenant is the abode of God and so is Saint Mary, the Mother of God. No creature could ever be close to the Lord as our Holy Mother. Even the four beasts who carry the throne of God were not able to carry the Lord as Holy Mother Saint Mary did in her womb. For this, she is bestowed the gift of “Mercy of Covenant” for the salvation of people who believe in her prayer, intercession and mediation. Prophet David said, “Man shall say, Zion is my mother” and thus we shall call upon her in time of destitutions. (Psalm 87:5)

“A Man of God” (2 Samuel 9:6)

Saint Prophets are “A man of God” who are real people and speak the truth which it is instigated just as their words. In the Book of Samuel, I, it is stated as, “Look now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honorable man; all that he says surely comes to pass. (1 Samuel 9:6)

“All is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2)

The Wise King Solomon described what yield has a man of all his labor which he takes under the sun. He said “all is vanity” from what he learned in life. He exceeded all men in wisdom, sage, wealth, and power. (1 kings 4:29-30). He saw everything but he knew everything was temporary. The writing starts saying “the word of the preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem” then “Vanity of vanities, say the preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.” (Ecclesiastes 1:1-2)

“A man of God” (1 Samuel 9:6)

Limited is the work of man in his world of terrain. His knowledge of earthly life only enables for the corporal but not for the spiritual one and the salvation of us. It is natural to seek what we do not have though, yet we can only wish for extraordinary. People have the tendency of leaning to what we know and strive for the most remarkable life.

Man shall be aware of his neutrality and much more work of miraculous of God, as he is the result of His creation. There is pure distinction between ordinary man and “A man of God,” as in scripted in Holy Scriptures representing all the Saints and the Righteous. But whom Saint Samuel spoke about is the prophets, who has the power of the Holy Spirt to foretell the future.

Prophets

Dear Children of God, how are you? How is school and spiritual life? How are you doing at your school and home with your family? Are you attending Churches at holidays and on Sabbath (Saturdays and Sundays)? How are you spending your leisure (free) time? Hope you are using them for valuable things such as reading, studying, helping your parents as well as your elderlies. Children, it also important to help poor and elderly people around the Churches and on the streets by feeding and clothing them. Then, God will also be happy about us and we would become His children. Ok, good!

Children, today we will teach you about Prophets who are servants of God. Prophet is “a person who conveys messages from the God to people, including occasionally foretelling future events.” We call the male “Prophet” and the female “Prophetess.” They have the power of Holy Spirit upon themselves that makes them speak the word of God and foretell (tell) the future (what comes another day, month or year/years).

The world of heavens, full of magnificence and harmony, melodically praise of the Almighty God, is the city of Angels who live for the honor of the Creator, and gratification of His glory.
