The Mystery of Resurrection
Dear Children of God, how are you? How was holiday? Did you spend it at Church according to the liturgy? Did you have good time with you family with joy and peace? We hope the holiday was pleasant and joyful. Children! How well do you know about resurrection? If you have learned about it at your schools, it is very good! But if not, we will teach on this lesson!
The Holy book ‘The Bible’ tells us about the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ written in the Gospels (word of God) of Matthew, Mark, Luke and Mark. After His crucifixion upon the Cross, Lord Jesus died and was buried for three days. Then, on the third day, in the midnight of Saturday, He rose up from the grave with power and authority.
On Sunday morning, two women whom are both named Mary came in search for the Lord’s grave. But when they reached, the Angel of God came and said to them, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.” So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.” (Matthew 28:5-9)
Dear Children of God, the resurrection of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the day of our confirmation of salvation. It is the day we have been liberated (freed) from the slavery of sin and enemy Satan. It is the day souls were saved from hell and entered heaven. Because before that, heaven was closed for 5500 years after the defiant (disobedience) and sinning of Adam and Eve. It was later on that God promised to save him from hell for He felt sorry and forgive him after his mourning and suffering.
This is the main reason that we shall always remember to be thankful for God’s mercy and love, because if Lord Jesus has not died for us, we would not have been saved from hell where there is always suffering and pain in eternal (everlasting) fire. If God the father had not send His Holy Son to this world for the salvation for the human race, we would have still lived in this dark world under the shell of the enemy Satan in sorrow and misery.
Children, it is very important to remember the mercy and love of God, to understand the misery (secret) of the Resurrection as Lord and Savior Jesus Christ reveled His love and mercy first upon the cross and then on His rising (resurrection), on Sabbath day.
So, what shall we do in return for His love and mercy? It is simple and clear because we just have to do the same as our Lord who have paid sacrificed for our souls with His death. We have to sacrifice for our God, faith and religion through our Love for Him and others as well. We need to love and feed the poor, shelter and nurture the elders. We shall share our food, clothing and shelter with others and make God happy. It is through these good deeds we commemorate the resurrection of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Farwell Children, hope you have good holidays with your family and beloved ones!
May God be with us, Amen!
