Peace!

Dear Children of God! how are you? How is the feast of resurrection/Easter/? Hope you have been strong, obedient and good children through it out and reached the holiday of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rising from the dead.

Children! Our Lord did not just rise from the dead but also defeated death and gave us eternal life! Mankind was imprisoned by the Satanic slavery until He Came down, crucified rise from the dead on the third day and liberated him.

Then after six days and on the seventh day, He was revealed to the apostles specifically to Saint Thomas since he was absent on the resurrection day and witnessed the Lord’s rising from the dead.

The Holy Bible states it as follows; Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”  When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”

So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:19-29)

Little ones! It is very important to understand the reason of Lord’s resurrection as we have explained in the beginning! God, the Holy Father sent His Begotten Son to be crucified and give us life upon His resurrection just as the apostles witnessed.

It is as well vital to acknowledge that the Lord gave us ever lasting peace affirmed by His Holy words, “peace be with you!”  So then we shall commemorate this and celebrate the holiday of His second resurrection at our Holy Church with our families and beloved ones.

Peace is very crucial in our spiritual lives. If we have it internally, we become restful and stable. Our mind/conscious/ is free from fear, anxiety, stress and other various harmful thoughts. And if we do not have peace within our families, neighborhood, community, church and country, it creates different social crises, economic disasters, tribal conflicts and national wars.

Dear children of God! we are now witnessing major peaceful chaos (disorder). Do you know why that is? It is because, we are being disobedient, defying God’s law and commandment.  We are committing all the sinful deeds He ordered us not to do.  Men/adults are sinning much daily, pledging falsity, theft/stealing/, causing corruption/bribery/ and conflicts within the society and war amongst world countries.

Therefore, we must seize/stop/ to disappoint our Lord and cleanse our sin/bad deed/. The Laws are what protect from any harm and guide us in the true life path. We shall follow Him, Who told us, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6) It is through the Lord we will be in peace and joyful forever!

Farewell! We have finished our lesson for now and leave you with warm greetings. We hope you find peace and joy in your lives!

May God be with you; Amen!
