I magnify my ministry!

The whole of the community might have owns definition to the word “ministry or service.” Someone strive to have an interpretation within the acts of personhood, family hood as well as within community for “ministry.” It could be probability or improbability to recon whether one has adequate knowledge and comprehension about it; but there is great importance to its significance in the church system and thus creating awareness is off the essence.

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ telling us, “just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many,” in the Holy Gospel, is about ministry being the life path on which we become like Christ, grow into becoming Him and we give our soul to Him. (Matthew 20:23) It is the life we reach God fulfilling His will through which we bestow ourselves in redemption to those who have knacker bodily, eternally and spiritually. We serve others in the ministry of church.

More than anything, a ministry is done for the Lord, God. Foremost, He created man in His image and likeliness for praising and glorification of His name in harmony with the celestial beings, Angels, for the inheritance of heavenly Kingdom. Thence, we name any good endeavors we perform by keeping The Commandments of God and The Order of the Church in our spiritual life. All the prayer we pray, the fasting we fast, the prostration and the alms giving we make, is accepted before the Lord and thus it is a ministry.

One way or another, we would be able to do good if we know the Holy words of God and practical Christianity. Hence, primarily, it is better to learn and understand Church education. We ought to venerate and acknowledge our ministry, to discern the command of God.

The Veneration of Ministry

The Apostle Saint Paul in his epistle to the Romanian says, “For I speak to you Gentiles; in as much as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them.” (Romanian 11:13-14) regarding these holy words, all in the name of Christians by Christ, necessitate to venerate the ministry we act accord God wills.

When we say “I magnify my ministry,” it is revering our ministry by the ordination we are bestowed and therefore, not venerating the service brings embarrassment and punishment. It separates from the unity of the Church in the forthcoming; so it is a spiritual duty to venerate ministry. The Holy Bible tells us about the Saul, Son of Kish, seeking power and be appointed; but then was ordained by the Will of God in the hands of Prophet Samuel. He got punished later on anyway. (1 Samuel 9)

God resented and gave up his governance since he did not properly utilize his ordination upon the pupil. Today also, the Lord has appointed us on ourselves and on others. If we are chosen for this ministry and appointment, it is our duty to obey and serve.

Ministry is the affirmation for the love of Christ. It is stated as “So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep. He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.” (John 21:15-17)

He is not a King who needs to be Throne; nor seek Honor or else treasure; He would not be devoid of appraisal if we do not venerate our ministry. He willed for our service, endows His power, wisdom and discerning, embraces us grace upon grace, honor upon honor, due to His absolute love!
