Good Governance and Church

Part Four

Dear Family of God!  How are you? We hope your weeks have been good! May we remind you our last topics regarding “Good governance and Church.” For the last three parts we talked about the lack of good governance and the damage it caused in few. On this finale part, we will see the advantages of good governance; Be with us!

On this season, the existence of good governance has much significance. The advantage is twofold. It has value for Holy Synod, the Church, laities, as well as the country.

4.1. The Advantages for the Church 

  • To fulfill her apostolic mission properly, to deliver her teaching for the whole world.
  • To preserve her synodical unison and canonic of church
  • To hinder the external interference, to control robbers who shrinkage her wealth and possessions, expand gospel, etc.

4.2. The Advantages for the Holy Synod

It saves the Holy Synod to accept the agenda of the government or else another organization and from the accusation of laities. It makes the decision be implemented, has good influence on others, be honored and respected and obeyed. It would have the ability and courage to keep its unity by rebuking the disorder, apart from ordinary alleged and critics. With this, it makes it fulfill the promise of Church and laities. Instead of serving the mine, it strives to be diligent for its word. (Acts 6:2)

4.3. The Advantages for the Priest

Priests are the eyes of God. They are shepherd for the herds. It is impossible to think of Church without the priests. The defect of good governance and holy synod’s honor and ultra brings damages on the priests also. Because they cannot be respected if their priesthood is not venerated.

4.4.  The Advantages for Laities

Laities are the reason for the existence for the Church. They are who Christ let be preserved, through His bloodshed and gave life and childhood by Divinity, Angelic as well as humanitarian of priest and kings.

Church is a scared place to meet Christ, birth through baptism by Holy Spirit, attain resurrection of death after corporeal death, be emphasized, get cured when ill. She is their home in time of life or death. She is the priesthood for priests, papacy for the bishops, shepherds for the herds and safety for laities. When the problem in Church Management it resolved, synodic veneration is preserved, the laities honor is also conserved; Their unison is endured; They are served in adequacy.  Embrace rest and peace in soul and body.

4.5. The Advantages for Country

If the government truly seek peace, development and sustenance, they would have supported her but not malice her. Interference and lack of good governance would not have been a reason. Why? Because who raises generation with the affection of peace, is religious, mannered, fear God, love his country, producer, healthy citizen and brave mind. Regards, country and government will benefit when the problem of good governance is resolved, the service of gospel is fastened and focus on the generation construction.

Conclusion

Our Church shall have good governance free predicaments; have servile who serve in diligence with the hate of worldliness, reminded about their mission, stand for the pride of the Church; attain laities able to be her gate.

Church is the home for all in the name of Christian Orthodox. She shall be in unison with God and her children. Her order is the base of the Law and Commandment the Lord. Thus, merit absolution but not deprived with any harm, sinful act or corrupted servile.

Dear Brethren! A fish would be able to live outside a sea. To be alive, it needs the sea. Alike, we need Church to have a life. It is must to live in Church as she is the foundation of true life, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  His words are life; His flesh and Blood is life which is fetched in Church.
