Feast of Mount Quskuam
Our Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ and His holy mother returnee from flight of Egypt and Ethiopia to Mount Quskuam, is a great feast celebrated by Holy Orthodox Incarnation Church.
Each year on Hidar 6, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church commemorates the return of the Holy family to Israel. This is the holiday we commemorate their relief from the menace of King Herod, in memory of the hardship the Holy Family suffered during their flight. We also celebrate the appearance of Lord Christ and His disciples on Mount Qusquam for the consecration of its church.
