Our Most Holy Lady and Ever Virgin Saint Mary was born at a time when people had reached such a degree of moral decay that it seemed altogether impossible to restore them. People often said that God must come into the world to restore faith and not permit the ruin of mankind.
Dear Children of God! how are you? How is the feast of resurrection/Easter/? Hope you have been strong, obedient and good children through it out and reached the holiday of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rising from the dead.
Little ones! Our Lord did not just rise from the dead but also defeated death and gave us eternal life! Mankind was imprisoned by the Satanic slavery until He Came down, crucified rise from the dead on the third day and liberated him.
It is as well vital to acknowledge that the Lord gave us ever lasting peace affirmed by His Holy words, “peace be with you!” So then we shall commemorate this and celebrate the holiday of His second resurrection at our Holy Church with our families and beloved ones.

Blessed is the day on which Saint Virgin Mary, Pure, Most Holy, Blessed, abode of Deity, Mother of God, Praised above all creation, Mother of Mercy, Mother of many, Our Lady, received the covenant of mercy from her Beloved Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, so that she be the Salvation of all creation.
Primordially, the Almighty God by His Divine Will thought of Holy Mother Saint Virgin Mary for the salvation of the world. By this Divine attention, He created the mother of all and the hope of human race. The years of her life on earth were 64 years. She was 15 years old when she left the temple. She spent 33 years in Joseph’s house, until the Ascension of the Lord, and 15 years with Saint John the Evangelist, according to the commandment of the Lord which He told her at the cross, “Behold, this is your son,” and to Saint John, “Behold, this is your mother. ” Our pure Lady Saint Mary, the Mother of God’s departure is on Tir 21.
Holy Orthodox Tewahedo Church celebrates the commemoration of the miracle that our Lord Jesus Christ which He performed at Cana of Galilee on Tir 12. It was the first miracle that our Lord Jesus performed after His baptism. He was invited to the wedding with His virgin mother, Saint Mary and also His disciples.

The greatest of all festivals, the honorable, and great, and holy festival of the Birth of our Lord Christ, of the holy Virgin Mary is celebrated on Tahesas 29. Now our fathers, the doctors of the Church, are at one in their opinion that the festival of the Holy Nativity should be celebrated on two days, for the Nativity took place in the last part of the night of the twenty-eighth day, and in the first part of the night of the twenty-ninth day. When Paguemen (i.e. the intercalary month) hath six [days], in that year the festival of the Nativity shall be on the eight and twentieth day; but if Paguemen hath five [days] the festival of the Nativity shall be on the nine and twentieth day. And the [doctors] have ordained and commanded that the festival of the Nativity shall be celebrated two days, for it is the chief of the holy festivals.
