Aroma of Life
Painful as it is yet beautifully done, was His redemption work; The Heavenly King’s Coming, miraculous healing, suffering and salvation endowed the imprisoned souls, aroma of life glowingly.
The disciples being true witnesses affirmed by their words about the astonishing work of The Good Shepherd Who died upon the cross, yet again risen on the third day, for all those believing in Him, bestowing eternal life. “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 2:14-15)
The life Christ gave us, Christianity, is a way of life: And the path is salvation of soul and holiness enriching us eternity. Eternal life is the great gift God endowed Mankind. “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” (John 6:68); “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3); “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12)
We humans are witness of Lord’s resurrection as we rise from the dead by His rising on judgment day, Lord’s second Coming. We are known as Christians by His Holy Name “Christ.” He gave us this gift and eternal life by His death as well as resurrection.
The end of time, where the world comes to non-existence, people are judged for either eternal life or else eternal death. Human race have the choice of journeying through the life path by being good, righteous and inherit the Kingdom of heaven for eternal life; but, if decide for satisfaction of body but seize to crave soul purity, will walk down on the wrong path, defying God’s law and sinning much to be put to eternal death.
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” (Matthew 31-40)
Most vitally, it is of the essence to be aware of cleansing from any kind of harmful thoughts, acts and deeds for the purity of the soul. It is our soul but not body that has everlasting life. Onwards the Lord’s judgment, people will be put to trail for salvation or persecution.
Any one created in the Likeliness and image of Holy Trinity, is asked of worship of God, obeying the commandments and keeping the order of His house. For we are to be abode of the Lord, living in righteousness and holiness is very crucial. We shall have our aroma of life for eternity, Who is Lord Jesus Christ.
Referring to all the sacred in scriptures and His disciples, we have witnessed the Lord’s unconditional love, revealed by the crucifixion, Who gave us His precious life for the salvation of us. He is the sweet aroma of life sacrificed upon the Holy Cross for the reconciliation of God and man. Then, all in the Name of Christ are to acknowledge the work (doctrine) of salvation and live through the cross.
Carrying the cross is “bearing suffering and embracing a life of discipleship, following the example of Jesus Christ. It’s a commitment to enduring hardship for the sake of faith and following in Christ’s footsteps, even when it means facing opposition or personal sacrifices.”
Finally, later on earthly life, we triumph on our enemy and wordiness encircled by evil temptation and separate from the temporary living as our soul ascends to the heaven with sweet aroma of life.
There is no anxiety, fear or pain in Kingdom of God. It is a heavenly place of peace, love and contentment. All who inherit heavenly kingdom live in peace, harmony and happiness by the praise of the Lord. It is what we are created for at the beginning.
Dear brethren! the earthly living we strive so hard to succeed is just temporary. The countable years we stay in this word is not ever lasting. The flesh we are wearing is not for our heavenly life but earthiness. We live in it only in this world till the time of our death since it becomes soil. We will be bestowed another body on the judgment day, all looking alike. Our soul then is beautified and be glory by good deeds, righteousness and purity.
The life we are to live in God’s Kingdom is eternal and thus, we shall crave in living the everlasting one with the Lord, and be in peace.
May it be God’s will to endow us eternal life ; Amen!
