Abidance to the Lord!
The good will of mankind is what enables the obedience and the abidance to the Lord. Unfortunate though, the evil thought and desire of man has brought betrayal and defiant of God’s law and commandment resulting in the prosecution of human race.
Men has defied the rule in seeking of deity and as to bestowment of divine authority. Wishing the forbidden, Adam brought condemnation on himself. The reason for the human race to be cursed being dismissed from heaven and brought to this world filled with suffering, agony, torture, pain, hunger, thirst, hardship and misery. Merciful as He is, the Lord has freed mankind from evil slavery through His crucifixion. Years passed, still men are defying the Lord Who has died for the love of us. We have not seized to betray Him though being aware of His commandment. Man has chosen to walk on the path of evil, desiring worldliness, wealth, fame and power. These days many devil worshippers are seeking the power of God, whom are the follower’s Satan. They assume mankind will attain godness with his own will and the authority of devil. Many scientists have thrived to reach at God’s kingdom building some many scientific instruments. Yet, they might have reached to some extent of His creations in the sky men are able to visualize with our own eyes, the knowledge and power of us is limited. We might build high, sill no creature reaches His kingdom, only if He wills it.“ Though you ascend as high as the eagle, And though you set your nest among the stars, From there I will bring you down,” says the Lord (Obadiah 1:4)
The story of Babylonians can be example. It is written in the Holy Bible as follows: “The Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore, its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.” (Genesis 11፡1-9)
The day Holy Trinity’s power, Oneness and threeness was revealed is a great feast. This being the reason Holy Church celebrates the feasts of Him on Tir 7, the day He ceased the tower of shinar (The tower of babel) and scattered the Babylonians.
The world is being flooded, shaken by earthquakes, and consumed by wildfires because the descendants of Adam defied God, sought wealth, power, and authority, and were bound by the chains of sin who is subject to the enemy, the devil. We are being dragged down whilst assuming elevation.
Dear Brethren, all the scientifically makings are falsity only allowing earthly pleasure and power. The knowledge acquired by our own mind devoid of the trepidation and obedience of the Lord is all vain. The wise King and Prophet David has said, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverb 1:7)
It is therefore significant to live by the fear and obedience of God in being safeguarded from the world’s harm and temptation. Humans are to be endowed a true life filled with peace, love and contentment if he abides the law of the Lord. It is then we will be heirs of His kingdom.
