“Fear sin but not death” Saint Jared
Death being the punishment of mankind for his defiant GOD’s command in heaven, eating the forbidden fruit led to his death after his mystery on earth. Mortal’s Death is the separation of body and soul. Written in Genesis, our body decays and we shall all be buried in grave. “For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)
Describing the creation of human beings in the beginning, the Bible says, “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)
GOD created the body from the dust and then He breathed through him to his num body; and man becomes alive; and thus we have living soul. When we die, the reverse happens. We stop breathing and our soul separates from the body. In The Bible it is written, “The dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. At the resurrection, God reunites the body and His life-giving spirit and the person lives again.” (Ecclesiastes 12:7)
Hominid survival relies on dual death of his Body and Soul; Mortals shall bear corporeal death, but his soul might enter heaven or hell and shall live forever. As Death is the end of physical and bloody life, all humans shall have no fear in leaving earthly life but entering hell for it is everlasting. Saint Jared have said, “Fear sin but not death.”
There is no escape from physical death. The Rapture we endure from earthly life yet might soothe us physical but impure our soul. That being eternal death, is our separation from GOD. Physical death is inevitably but chastity is off the essence for eternal life. Though we might die physically even after our body becomes num and our heart beat stops; our soul starts its expedition whether in heaven or hell.
At the separation of the soul from the body at our death day, spirit ordered to question our souls attain us at instant. Christians who lived by GOD’s commandments embraces entering heaven while sinners are thrown to everlasting fire. The truth for creation as human is in living in fear of God and keeping His commandments. “Then, shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” (Ecclessias12:7)
We can mention this biblical story about as the example, “And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni; but his father called him Benjamin” death in the bible about the SOUL is ever lasting and conscious even when the BODY is dead. (Genesis 35:18)
After our physical death, there is no more second chance of salvation. Our only choice is to await judgment and face our ending which is fearsome. Unlike the physical, the eternal death is irreversible.
On Judgment day after our physical re-unites with our soul, we face our creator GOD and so, we ought to remember these words of him. “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years” (Revelation 20:6)
According to the Bible, earth is also the resemblance of hell, for we shall endure pain and sorrow for the salvation of our soul. Those who chose the ecstasy in worldly life than spiritual, bare agony in hell down into the earth. But for the righteous ones, they live in his kingdom, “because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, you will not let your holy one see decay. You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.” (Acts 2:27 -31)
On the revelation the explanation about hell that will be cast into the Lake of Fire along with those who will perish after the Last Judgment. “Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.” In the Lake of Fire there will be thick darkness unquenchable fire, torment, suffering and plus worms as described in the bible. (Revelation 20:14, Jude 13, Mark 9:44-48)
Some might think the soul might be as an immortal entity within us existing living after death. Although GOD created both our body and soul, he values the soul. Saint Paul says that the righteous “seek for glory, honor, and immortality” (Romans 2:7).
Death have no power over us, if not we lack faith. We shall win our fear and anxiety to exceed in life. Pain and sorrow are bearable, but the suffering of soul in hell is not. Though, we are recently facing death due to the cureless disease Corona, it is better to await for soul cure and eternal life.
