“The True Vine will be cut” (Miracles of Mary)

The true vine our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ came down from the heavens, wore the body of man, walked like one of us, taught His holy words, healed many by His miracles, endured pain and triumphed on the death which came upon humans.

Lord Jesus has said Himself, “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” (John 15:1) As it is written in “Miracles of Mary Book”, “a true wine will be cut” the Jews rise in envy of our Lord and killed Him. The Holy Father willed the sacrifice of His Begotten Son for the salvation of the world saying “Christ will die.”

We have been saved from eternal death, endowed soul salvation and a heavenly life by the death of Our Lord. The Holy Son came to this world (earth) lessening His honor, for the cleansing of our sin, teaching the true way of life, suffering and dying upon the cross.

The Lord’s crucifixion is our redemption. All His suffering on the Passion Week is for our salvation. He endured all the 13th kinds suffering and died on the cross by His will. The true vine is cut for us.

The Lord on His sermon has spoken of the capturing and death He willed to sacrifice for us especially to the disciples. The Holy bible states it as, “From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.” (Matthew 16:21)

Those believers who listened His preaching, witnessed the miracles He performed as well as disciples witnessed Him as The Holy Son of The Holy Father. But the Jews seek of killing Him. “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”

The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.” Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’? If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.” (John 10:31-39)

It is written in the gospel on the fifth day our Lord prayed in Gethsemane garden; “He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour [b]is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.” (Matthew 26:37-46)

Then the Jews captured Lord Jesus our envy. He suffered much and separated His holy soul from body with His own will and died for us. The Lord Whose attitude is immortal and eternal died on the cross out of His love for mankind. The true vine is cut; Lord Jesus died on the sixth day for all of us!

Praise be to Him!
