\u201cThe hope of the righteous\u00a0will be\u00a0gladness\u201d (Proverb 10:28)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who are righteous?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Righteous are true people. Our Lord, God is a true Lord and thus is righteous. Regards, it is written in the Holy Bible as \u201cO Lord\u00a0God of Israel,\u00a0You\u00a0are\u00a0righteous, for we are left as a remnant, as\u00a0it is\u00a0this day.\u00a0Here we\u00a0are\u00a0before You,\u00a0in our guilt, though no one can stand before You because of this!\u201d \u00a0(Ezra 9:15)<\/p>\n

The Apostle Saint Paul also uttered saying, \u201cI have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Finally, there is laid up for me\u00a0the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous\u00a0Judge, will give to me\u00a0on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.\u201d (2 Timothy 4:6-8)<\/p>\n

We understand from the teaching of the apostle, the truth about righteous who make their way with God, within their religion and by their good deed. There are found to be truthful in all their deeds. When we come back to our topic, the words, \u201cThe hope of the righteous\u00a0will be\u00a0gladness\u201d \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0is to say the happiness of Christians is not earthly but is bestowed by the faith in God. (Proverb 10:28) It is sated as, \u201cNow may the God of hope fill you with all\u00a0joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.\u201d (Romans 15:13) It is the happiness in knowing the true liberty within love. It is said, \u201c<\/sup><\/strong>And you shall know the\u00a0truth, and\u00a0the truth shall make you free.\u201d (John 8:32)<\/p>\n

What is Happiness? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Happiness is the wage we are given by much pain endured for Christ. The Holy Bible affirms as \u201cbut rejoice\u00a0to the extent that you partake of Christ\u2019s sufferings, that\u00a0when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.\u201d (1 Peter 4:13)<\/p>\n

Righteous found happiness by keeping the rule of God that made them live here on their earthly life and will make them live in the heavens. As it is said, \u201cAs the Father\u00a0loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.\u00a0If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father\u2019s commandments and abide in His love.\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>\u201cThese things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and\u00a0that\u00a0your joy may be full.\u201d (John 15:9-11)<\/p>\n

We can divide the happiness of righteous into two:- <\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Earthly Happiness: – it is the joy we get on earth and it is temporary.<\/li>\n
  2. Heavenly\/eternal\/ Happiness:- It is the happiness we are bestowed after reaching the end of the world by righteousness and endowed an eternal life in the heavenly kingdom.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Holy Bible affirmed this stating, \u201cHis lord said to him, \u2018Well\u00a0done,<\/em>\u00a0good and faithful servant; you were\u00a0faithful over a few things,\u00a0I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into\u00a0the joy of your lord.\u2019\u201d (Matthew 25:21) Entering to eternal happiness is through righteousness by carrying the cross in patient. \u201cWhen He had called the people to\u00a0Himself,\u00a0with His disciples also, He said to them,\u00a0\u201cWhoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.\u201d (Mark 8:34)<\/p>\n

    In general, the righteous are bestowed the second happiness who are said, \u201cThe hope of the righteous\u00a0will be\u00a0gladness.\u201d (Proverb 10:28) We shall also follow their example for we will be included with them. Moreover, we shall do much righteous work in these 50 days feasts, in entering the heavenly kingdom.\u00a0 Then, our work will triumph just like righteous and saints. The Bible says, \u201cThen I heard a voice from heaven saying\u00a0to me, \u201cWrite:\u00a0\u2018Blessed\u00a0are\u00a0the dead\u00a0who die in the Lord from now on.\u2019 \u201cYes,\u201d says the Spirit,\u00a0\u201cthat they may rest from their labors, and their works follow\u00a0them.\u201d (Revelation 14:13)<\/p>\n

    Our Holy Mother Saint Mary is the one who embraced earthly as well as heavenly happiness. She said, \u201cMy soul\u00a0magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has\u00a0rejoiced in\u00a0God my Savior. \u201c (Luke 1:46-47) This is Holy Mother\u2019s happiness from God; it is inseparable and eternal.<\/p>\n

    On another section of the Bible, the Lord said to the 72 disciples who were rejoicing about casting out demons, \u201cNevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but\u00a0rather rejoice because\u00a0your names are written in heaven.\u201d (Luke 10:20) The right happiness is up in the heavens with whom their names are written in records.<\/p>\n

    The Heart of God Prophet David told us about true happiness saying, \u201cI will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.\u201d (Psalm 9:2) And as it is said, \u201cIs anyone cheerful?\u00a0Let him sing psalms,\u201d we will be able to live with God and be bestowed eternal happiness. (James 5:13)<\/p>\n

    The happiness in this world fluctuates. Falling, rising, sorrow and happiness are occurrences. One who gets money gets happy; when he losses get sad. Situations in our living vary; It becomes morning and gets darkened at night. There is no permanent thing on earth. Yet, happiness from God subsists for eternity!<\/p>\n
