The Seven Sacraments<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Children of God! how are you? How are you spending the winter season? As you know, this is the occasion that is cold, wet and snowy. Therefore, it is better to use your break time for reading of Holy Scriptures, studying your school lessons at home and local churches, whilst helping your family on house chorus. Ok? good!<\/p>\n

Children, may we remind you that we have been learning about \u201cThe Mysteries of Church\u201d for the last consecutives weeks. Hope you understood our lessons and put them into practice because in Christian life, the main purpose is the act of good deed by keeping the law of God and church\u2019s order. Well! And now we will proceed to our lesson of \u201cThe Seven Sacraments.\u201d\u00a0 First let see their list.<\/p>\n

  1. Baptism<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Myron<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Holy Communion<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Ordination<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Holy Matrimony<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Mystery of Penance <\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Unction of the Sick<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Dear Children of God! the sacraments are yet again divided into three. The first group is known as is \u201cThe Mysteries of life that bestows us the grace of children of God.\u201d These are \u201cMystery of Baptism, Mystery of Myron and Mystery of Holy Communion.\u201d The reason they are given this name is because without their performance, it is impossible to embrace infant baptism. When these three are applied, we are born again and become children of God through given a new life.<\/p>\n

    The second one is, \u201cThe Mysteries which endows us service and graceful unity.\u201d \u00a0These are \u201cMystery of Ordination and Mystery of Holy Matrimony.\u201d The Mystery of Holy Matrimony is the sacrament that is performed when people get married. And The Mystery of Ordination is the sacrament of those chosen by God for the service of priesthood.<\/p>\n

    The Third one is known as \u201cThe Mystery of soul and body healing.\u201d These are \u201cMystery of Unction of the Sick and Mystery of Penance.\u201d Children, when we are sick the priest\u2019s unction on us and we will be healed form our sickness. And through the sacraments of penance, we heal our soul from any harm, evil and deviousness. \u00a0Our soul will be injured if we sin (do bad things) and thus, we shall repent (perform Mystery of Penance).<\/p>\n

    Dear Children of God! we have seen the seven sacraments and their services above. Below, we will see the sacraments that are must, repeatedly done and not repeated on laities (believers).<\/p>\n

    • The Sacraments done on all laities are: \u201cMystery of Baptism, Mystery of Myron and Mystery Holy Communion.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • The Sacraments that are repeatedly done are: \u201cMystery of Penance, Mystery Holy Communion and Mystery of Unction of The sick.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • The Sacraments that are not repeated are: \u201cMystery of Baptism, Mystery of Myron, Mystery of Ordination and Mystery of Holy Matrimony.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • The Sacraments done on only selected people are: \u201cMystery of Ordination, Mystery of Holy Matrimony and Mystery of Unction of the sick.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Dear Children of God! we have seen about the seven sacraments as far as this. On our next lesson, we will see them each in detail. \u00a0Until then, be obedient, good and brave children, whilst your winter break ends and you start the new year.<\/p>\n
