Hosanna in the highest!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lord above the Cherubim,
\nToday enters Jerusalem,
\nTaking the human flesh to redeem,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jesus to Jerusalem planned to go,
\nFor the Passover according to the Law,
\nA big crowd followed, when Him they saw,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Savior and our God,
\nLowly and humble a donkey He rode,
\nComing along Jerusalem road,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Passing through the Mount of Olive,
\nThe crowd shouted our hearts we give,
\nTo Your kingdom as long as we live,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Olive branches raised up high,
\nPeople joined in as He passed by,
\nWith thundering voice of shout and cry,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They put their garments on the street,
\nAnd spread their shirts under His feet,
\nThe future King they wished to meet,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The multitude entered the town,
\nIts walls seemed to be tumbling down,
\nWith mighty voice seeking Him to crown,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

King of Zion on a colt will lead,
\nZechariah prophesied indeed,
\nHosanna to the Son of David,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They shouted with an unceasing voice,
\nThis is the King of our choice,
\nBy crowning Him we will rejoice,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Branches of palm trees in their hands,
\nAnd voices heard throughout the land,
\nHis victory the Pharisees could not stand,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They said how all these things could be,
\nJesus of Nazareth, we know who is He,
\nStopping the praise, they wished to see,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jesus answered, “If no man shouts,
\nThe stones of the earth will cry out.”
\nThis is the day prophesied about,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jerusalem filled with happiness,
\nA glorious King with righteousness,
\nComing to reign over and to bless,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He gave the man born blind his sight,
\nHe showed Zacchaeus the path of the light,
\nHe raised dead Lazarus by His might,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With five loaves, thousands were fed,
\nHe made the crippled man carry his bed,
\n“The kingdom of heaven is near,” He said,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He came to the world as the Son of man,
\nIn His predetermined heavenly plan,
\nTo free us from the bondage of Satan,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We worship You, Jesus our King,
\nOlive and palm branches we bring,
\nWith unceasing voices we sing,
\nHosanna in the highest.<\/strong><\/p>\n
